Ocean Voyager International is Sri Lanka’s leading catamaran manufacturing brand, specializing in lightweight, rigid, and fully customizable sailing vessels. With a skilled team of over 250 professionals, we combine high-performance materials with cutting-edge boatbuilding techniques to deliver innovative projects from design to launch. As the first and largest shipyard in Sri Lanka to implement vacuum infusion technology, Ocean Voyager International is setting new benchmarks in quality, durability, and efficiency.

Ocean Voyager International (Pvt) Ltd, formerly known as BAFF Polymech, operates a premier boatyard within the Koggala Export Processing Zone in southern Sri Lanka. Spanning 6,000 square meters with an additional 3,000 sqm available for expansion, this facility is a cornerstone of the Sea Leisure Yachting Group’s (SLYG) mission to position Sri Lanka as a global hub for yacht manufacturing and marine tourism. It is certified under ISO 9001:2015.

Ocean Voyager International’s Welipatanwila Boatyard, situated on a 2-acre seaside property in Ambalantota, Sri Lanka, stands as a premier facility for constructing large-scale catamarans. Spanning 3,000 square meters, this state-of-the-art yard is equipped to launch vessels up to 160 feet in length, catering to the growing global demand for spacious, high-performance day charter yachts. It is certified under ISO 9001:2015.

Kabalana Boatyard & Training Center
The Kabalana Boat Yard & Training Center, is operated by Solar Impulse in close collaboration with the Building A Future Foundation. It functions as both a training ground and a production facility, offering on-the-job training to students while manufacturing parts for Sea Leisure Yachting Group. This unique setup allows youth to gain hands-on experience in real working conditions, bridging technical education with practical boatbuilding expertise.

Jaffna Boatyard & Training Center
The Jaffna Boatyard and Training Center, formerly known as BAFF Polymech, has been operating since 2022 with the aim of developing both a production facility and a vocational training hub in the north of Sri Lanka. Its mission is to nurture the next generation of boatbuilders while creating meaningful employment opportunities and skill development in the region.
