The BAFF Training Center, created in 2006, was born from a mission to improve the lives of underprivileged Sri Lankan youth through training rooted in ocean-based opportunities. Beyond technical education, the Foundation gives values, structure, and purpose while making individuals ready to thrive in both the maritime and hospitality sectors.

Located in Kabalana, the Foundation welcomes and accommodates 60 to 100 trainees each year. Students receive hands-on training in both boatbuilding and multiskilled construction, along with English, IT, and life skills. It's more than a school, it's a transformative journey. sectors.

Following the success of Kabalana, a second training branch was opened in Jaffna, alongside the new Ocean Voyager shipyard. This expansion brings the same life-changing opportunities to Northern communities, where many young people still face limited prospects.
